Strawbale Construction.
Sunday project at a local community garden demonstrating what a group of novice strawbalers can achive in a day.
The groundwork had been pre prepared, and none of the bales needed to be load bearing as it is wrapping around an existing wooden framework that supports a very lightweight roof .
A major problem arose when the bales arrived smaller than the specifications throwing all the drawing plans out and needing several of the bales to be recut. Next step lime render.
