🧱 WHO CAN FIX THIS? — DATA MODEL EDITION
A UK-based car rental company, DriveFlex Ltd, has outgrown spreadsheets and is now using Salesforce to manage their vehicle bookings.
But things are falling apart fast…
🚗 Vehicles are being tracked under the Product object
📅 Rental bookings are being created as Opportunities
🧍‍♂️ Customers are added as Leads, but never converted
📊 Management can’t track which vehicle is booked when, or by whom
They want to know:
✅ Which customer booked which vehicle, for what dates
✅ How many times a vehicle has been rented
✅ Which rentals are active, upcoming, or overdue
✅ Accurate reports on bookings by region, customer, and vehicle
As the new Admin, you’ve been asked to clean this up and fast.
What’s your BEST next move?
👇 Drop your answer and explain your thinking in the comments. Let’s see who understands real data structure 🔍

🔘 A. Create a Booking__c custom object, relate it to Products and Leads using Lookup fields
🔘 B. Create custom objects for Vehicles and Bookings, link Customers using a Lookup to Contacts, and track rentals as Booking records
🔘 C. Use Accounts for Vehicles, Opportunities for Rentals, and Leads for Customers, then connect them with a Junction object
🔘 D. Build custom objects for Vehicles and Bookings, link them with Master-Detail, and keep Customers as Leads
