Seldom Have I Seen Such a GREAT Interview by Mel Robbins....
I started watching it from 48 min. in, but I will for sure go back and watch the full version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jImgnkT-YNM I dropped a summary my AI created of it here: This 87-minute podcast episode features Emma Green, a self-made entrepreneur and co-founder of Good American, sharing her journey from a challenging upbringing in East London to building billion-dollar fashion brands. She emphasizes the importance of personal responsibility, mental discipline, and consistent effort over perfection. Green discusses how her early struggles shaped her resilience, the value of pursuing excellence in every task regardless of its size, and the reality that success is a long-term journey marked by setbacks and persistence. She reflects on launching Good American, the pitfalls of underestimating operational demands, and the importance of behind-the-scenes relationships in business growth. Green also addresses the myth of overnight success, the necessity of taking action over planning, and the critical role of AI adoption in future-proofing careers. Her core message is that anyone can succeed by starting where they are, embracing the process, and refusing to let fear or comparison hold them back. Key Points: โ€ข Emma Green grew up in East London as the eldest of four girls, raised by a single mother in a tough environment, which instilled in her a strong sense of responsibility and resilience from an early age. โ€ข She struggled in school due to undiagnosed dyslexia and faced anger issues rooted in a culture of blame, but through therapy and self-awareness, she learned to take responsibility and manage her thoughts, which became foundational to her success. โ€ข Green emphasizes that 'how you do anything is how you do everything'โ€”excellence in small tasks, like making sandwiches or folding clothes, builds character and attracts opportunity, distinguishing it from perfectionism, which is externally focused and paralyzing.

ย Quick question for you social guys...
If you are already the one organizing nights out, rallying the group, and making sure the event actually happens, what is stopping you from getting paid for it?

ย Quick question for you social guys...
WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE A HERO TO?
A mentor of mine, Joe Polish, said something that changed the way I think about business. He said your number one job as an entrepreneur is to get checks. And the fastest path to getting checks is figuring out exactly who you want to be a hero to. Not everyone. Not the whole city. Not anyone who will listen. One specific person. For me, the answer has always been the same. The naturally connected person who fills every room they walk into, who people call when they want to know where to go, who organizes the trips, the nights out, the whole experience, and then watches someone else walk away with the money. That person. That is who I built Party Profit Secrets for. That is who I want to spend the rest of my career serving. Here is why this matters for you. When you get clear on who your person is, everything else locks into place. The events you throw, the venue you pick, the crowd you curate, the sponsors you go after. All of it starts making sense because you are building it for a specific human being, not for a generic crowd. Think about the best event you have ever been to. I am willing to bet the person who organized it had a very clear picture in their head of who was supposed to be in that room. They did not send invites to everyone. They sent them to the right people. That clarity is what made the room feel the way it felt. The same principle applies to your business. Ask yourself right now: if you could spend the rest of your life throwing events and building a community for one specific type of person, who would it be? Not a demographic. A feeling. The kind of person who walks in and immediately belongs. The kind of person who, when they find their people in your room, looks at you at the end of the night and says they have never experienced anything like this. That is your person. That is who you are a hero to. Once you know that, you know how to price. You know how to promote. You know which venues say yes to you and which ones do not fit. You know which sponsors make sense and which ones kill the vibe. All of it flows from that one answer.

WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE A HERO TO?
The Fast Pass To Skip The 10 Year GRIND that I did....
You know what? I was in this game for 10 years as a "hobby operator", if you want to call it that. I wish I had the insights that I now have after 22 years, after wising up and getting myself a mentor that could get me on track right out of the gates. It's logic when I'm saying this to you. I know. But who the hell knows where this is going to take you, right? You're starting out now, but if you're smart, it's a very, very low investment to gain decades right out the gate than having to wait and fail and tumble, and probably not even do more than your first event. That's what happens to most people that try to make it in this industry. They figure, "Oh, throwing a party, that's fun, that's easy." Well, 90-some percent fall on their face because they haven't thought of even the most basic things and the most important things. And those are the kind of things that I help people with here. I help them get their head straight, know what to do first, second, third, and fourth, and what details to pay attention to right out the gate. That's what I've learned from massive experience. My back is full of arrows as I've been taking them for you, and I would guide you through this treacherous jungle, so to speak, of being a party promoter (which is not a term I like, but it is a Party Organizer or Party Curator that you actually are heading towards). What a gift. What a gift. Hit me up with any questions you like, and let me see if I can help you right here. I am an open book. There are no such thing as a dumb question. The only dumb question is the one that is not asked! ...so ask me RIGHT NOW.

The Fast Pass To Skip The 10 Year GRIND that I did....
House Parties... That IS Where It All Starts... I need Your input...
....Not a venue. Not a sponsor. Not a 200-person guest list. Just your place, the right people, and the right vibe. I've seen it a hundred times. The person who figures out how to make 20 people feel like the most alive room in the city on a Friday night? That person is already halfway there. The logistics, the sponsors, the bigger events... all of that comes later. So here's my question for the community today: Have you thrown a house party yet? And if not, what's actually stopping you? Drop it below. No judgment. Whether it's the space, the people, not knowing how to get the right mix in the room, not knowing what to do about drinks or music or vibe... let's talk about it. This is exactly what we're here for. The first event is the hardest one. ....After that, you start to feel it.
