Group Project - Art Share - Snail Mail Style
It can be fun to give art to someone, but it can be fun to receive art from someone. First of all, I / We don't have this all figured out (hence the group project). It was suggested by someone in the group that they would like to do an art share. Nothing crazy here. Something like a 4x6" piece of paper. Postcard-sized, basically. Some of my first thoughts are that we don't want to overwhelm ourselves. We could do round-robin or split up into pairs. Also, we need to be aware of people who might be overseas and think about mailing costs that way. Still, I think this could be a lot of fun. I am super excited about this, so I may not have described this very well. Let's put our creative minds together to make it exciting but also realistic and fun. Or tell me I am crazy, because that is a possibility too. 😅 What say you, friends?
🚨 TOTALLY USELESS ART KNOWLEDGE 🚨
Today's art knowledge comes straight from the Federal Prison. I learned about this contemporary artist that used THESE common prison issued items to create this work. 4 items. I will give the details tomorrow morning. Do not google this - that takes all the fun out.

Ok, No banana pics ….. today. I am all up in my nostalgic feels from college remember the FIRST day of my first figure drawing class. Smallish, black dude standing in front of a class of virgin 20 year olds and dropping his robe to expose it ALL so I could draw ALL of it. I am teaching an IRL Figure drawing class tomorrow. The model is clothed but it still brings me back. And I was looking at some art and I wanted to show you something. Point something out. WARM AND COOL Exaggerated. See how the front of the body is very warm - reds, creams and warm browns. But there is a second light. Maybe a florescent light? And the highlights are BLUE! And how about the composition? What do you see? 🔺⭕️📐?????? This is a painting by an artist that my friend @Thomas Richards turned me on to. He paints much looser thank I do but I love it. Honey, I'm home...hee hee hee
Hello, I'm Angela I have actually been here since the summit. Life has just been in the fast lane. I'm a full time caregiver for my 80 yr mother with Dementia and since the Summit and hearing about people going all in and putting themselves first and starting businesses... I decided why wait... So, the reason I have been quiet in here...I went and decided to go all in. I am officially a certified Life Coach. Now I, too, can figure out, and work on starting my business
