🔎 TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT
I may be plotting a MACRO theme for September, so let’s play with it today. Macro simply means we’re getting REALLY close to something and seeing details we normally blow right past. You do NOT need a fancy camera or a macro lens. Grab your phone. 📱 Find an ordinary object around you. 🔎 Get CLOSE. Really close. ☀️ Make sure you have plenty of light. 👆 Tap the screen on the part you want in focus. 📏 If your phone won’t focus, back up just a little until it does. ✂️ Crop in even tighter afterward if you need to. DO NOT SHOW US THE WHOLE OBJECT. Post your mystery macro in the comments and let us guess what the hell we’re looking at. And don’t make it easy. 😈 Food. Tools. Clothing. Plants. Art supplies. Stuff from the junk drawer. Your husband’s hairy left toe. Whatever. Make the ordinary look completely unrecognizable. Let’s see who can stump us.

When Skool and IRL collide! I have more to share but wow did we have a full day! Both @Heather Boers and Malia COMPLETED their paintings in ONE DAY! We had so much fun - chatting, connecting. It was so nice for me because Heather and I have had enough meet ups on Skool that I wasn't apprehensive about the chemistry being weird IRL. It felt like we were just friends who hadn't seen each other in a while. I feel like that with so many of you here in our beautiful community and I want to meet you all IRL someday.
