Using Procreate or digital painting app to plan a painting?
Has anyone ever used a digital painting application to help plan a composition? I've started to use Procreate to sketch out ideas and compositions before I execute the actual painting. I found this useful for exploration and experimenting with composition and color. Although I'm still learning how to use the app, it really helps me think about oil painting. Here's a few examples of recent works.
