Here’s an oil study of an apple and orange slices
I haven’t painted in a while but reading The Workshop Experience by Ted Goerschner has been inspiring. One line that stuck with me is; sometimes I wish I could tell every student, “Forget about detail for at least the next 10 years. Just paint shapes.” This has helped me take it easy and see things differently which makes it a more enjoyable experience.
