Let me save somebody in this group some time today. You do NOT have to learn every lesson the hard way. I did plenty of that. 😂 Over the last 12–15 years, I’ve spent somewhere between $50,000–$75,000+ learning business. Some of it was coaching. Some was mentorship. Some was equipment. Some was software, training, tools and systems. And some of it was simply the price of making the WRONG decision. I’ve spent thousands on coaching that changed the way I look at business to this day. I’ve also spent close to $20,000 on an embroidery setup that we barely made $5,000 with over several years. Both taught me something. That’s what I want you to understand about being inside J2. You’re surrounded by people who have already made mistakes you haven’t made yet. USE THAT. Ask questions. Talk about what you’re considering BEFORE you dump money into it. Tell us what isn’t working. Tell us what you’re thinking about changing. Tell us about the idea keeping you awake at night. Sometimes you need a new strategy. Sometimes you need encouragement. And sometimes you need somebody who’s been around the block to tell you: “Don’t do that shit. 😂” That can be just as valuable. There is an unbelievable amount of FREE information available today. Google it. YouTube it. Ask AI. You can learn damn near anything. But information isn’t usually what stops people. Application is. Knowing which information applies to YOUR situation. Knowing what to ignore. Knowing when to push harder. Knowing when to change something. Knowing when you’re making a business decision versus an emotional decision. And knowing when the new shiny idea needs to go into the notebook instead of becoming your next business. That’s why we’re building this room. Not so I can stand on a pedestal pretending I have every answer. I don’t. We’re building a room where real people can bring real situations and benefit from each other’s EXPERIENCE. So here’s my challenge for everybody inside J2 today:

- Everybody loves starting. Very few people love repeating. Starting something new is exciting. Doing it for the 47th time when nobody is paying attention? That’s where people disappear. - The boring work is usually the money-making work. Follow-ups. Posting again. Making another call. Sending another message. Improving the same offer. Serving the customers you already have. - Stop confusing excitement with progress. A new idea gives you a dopamine hit. Execution gives you results. - You don’t need to reinvent your business every Monday. Sometimes the answer isn’t a new product, offer, community, or strategy. It’s doing more of what already works. - Repetition feels boring to you because you see everything you create. Your audience doesn’t. You’ve heard your message 100 times. Somebody else may be hearing it for the first time today. - Consistency gets hardest right before most people quit. The beginning has excitement. The finish has a reward. The middle? That’s where you have to work without applause. - Boring doesn’t mean ineffective. Packing orders isn’t sexy. Following up isn’t sexy. Creating systems isn’t sexy. Checking numbers isn’t sexy. But those things build businesses. - Motivation gets you moving. Discipline keeps you moving when motivation disappears. You aren’t going to wake up fired up every morning. Do it anyway. - Quit looking for the shortcut around repetition. Sometimes there isn’t one. You need the reps. - Your competition isn’t always more talented than you. Sometimes they’re simply willing to do the same boring shit longer than you are. - Don’t abandon something just because it stopped being exciting. Ask yourself: Is it actually not working—or am I just bored with working it? - Ideas aren’t your problem. Execution probably is. Having 50 ideas doesn’t beat executing one idea 50 times. Anybody can work when it’s exciting. Can you keep showing up when it’s repetitive? When nobody comments? When the numbers aren’t moving yet?
