Day 1
I've found most people, myself included, are in a "pay for performance" mindset and most online opportunities are promoted as quick money. Often times there is a financial hardship that brings people to the online business space and there is an expectation that they will be able to create quick money. I looked for the Easy Button but never found it and almost gave up. Then I read Harvey Mackay's " Dig Your Well Before You're Thirsty" and it changed my way of thinking. I realized that the work came first, put in the effort and the results will come. I still haven't had the big breakthrough but I'm still showing up. Lately with my new walk in faith I keep hearing the same thing in my head...be patient, calm yourself and trust in Him to guide you. I've taken a bit of a reset lately, slowed down, opened my ears and started to listen to Him. He has reassured me that this is His plan and I'm following His path. I'll get to my destination in fair time, right now I'm enjoying the scenery on the journey. Love y'all, have a blessed day šŸ™

Well that's pretty good timing 😁
Day 1
Day 1 – Expectation Reset When I entered the online space in 2023, I truly believed it would move faster. I thought if I built it right, the money would follow quickly. It didn’t. I’ve built behind the scenes. Restarted more than once. Shifted directions. Pulled back when I should’ve pushed forward. If I’m honest, I’m tired of thinking about the business all day and not seeing the financial payoff yet. I feel like I ā€œshouldā€ be further by now. And when results are quiet, my mind gets loud. I overanalyze my videos. I pick apart my appearance. I critique my voice. I replay the fumbles. Instead of just posting and moving on, I hesitate. But the truth is simple: What I need isn’t another strategy. I need consistency in being seen. I’m building this for the long term — for freedom, for my family, for legacy. That was never going to happen on an emotional timeline. So my reset is this: Less overthinking. More execution. Long game. I’m staying.

@Karen Gilbert it's so easy to listen to the voices in your head. I've heard the same voices you have and after a while you start to believe them. Let's take small imperfect steps towards long term success. Let's defeat the voices with action. I'm putting on the blinders, lifting my head up and moving forward.
Day 1 – Expectation Reset
If I’m being honest, I assumed success would happen within a few months. I thought if I worked hard, stayed consistent, and did all the ā€œrightā€ things, the results would come quickly. But what I didn’t expect was how long it would take to even figure out what I truly wanted to do. I kept changing directions. And even when I felt clear, I stayed in my own way. I would think: - Will this even work? - I don’t fully understand this, so maybe I can’t do it. - What if I’m wasting my time? I doubted myself before I even gave myself a real chance. Then I had to remind myself — this is like starting a new job. You’re not expected to know everything on day one. You’re not supposed to be perfect right away. You learn as you go. You grow into it. Success takes longer than emotions expect. And clarity takes time. Confidence comes from doing — not from waiting until you ā€œfeel ready.ā€ So today, instead of rushing results, I’m focusing on building trust. Trust with people. Trust in the process. Trust in myself. I release the rush. I commit to staying. I play the long game. šŸ¤

@Denise Polk you're spot on with the "trust". I realized a while back that people buy from people they trust. It's taken me until recently to just trust the process... I was always "planning" for what I would need to do 6 steps down the road, but failing to take the first step. This caused frustration, hesitation and stalling my progress.

@Josh Smale my brother, you nailed it tonight! You and I have talked about mindset before and you always bring clarity to to my questions and more importantly the clarity brings motivation. What truly stands out is EVERY TIME we chat you always end your text with "what else can I do to help you?". I am thankful to be a part of this group and I will be here to help and support y'all in every step of your journey. BTW... giving us the 14 day plan and then telling us to start Monday is like telling your kids that their Christmas presents are in the closet and you haven't had time to wrap them. I'm sure we're gonna take a peek šŸ˜‰
