Day 1 – Expectation Reset
If I’m being honest, I assumed success would happen within a few months. I thought if I worked hard, stayed consistent, and did all the “right” things, the results would come quickly.
But what I didn’t expect was how long it would take to even figure out what I truly wanted to do. I kept changing directions. And even when I felt clear, I stayed in my own way.
I would think:
  • Will this even work?
  • I don’t fully understand this, so maybe I can’t do it.
  • What if I’m wasting my time?
I doubted myself before I even gave myself a real chance.
Then I had to remind myself — this is like starting a new job. You’re not expected to know everything on day one. You’re not supposed to be perfect right away. You learn as you go. You grow into it.
Success takes longer than emotions expect. And clarity takes time. Confidence comes from doing — not from waiting until you “feel ready.”
So today, instead of rushing results, I’m focusing on building trust.
Trust with people.
Trust in the process.
Trust in myself.
I release the rush.
I commit to staying.
I play the long game. 🤍
