I plan my stuff pretty far in advance, mostly by the quarter, which is also why the GPTs advice was basically "don't do anything else".
Leverage the podcast guesting + guest teaching you’re already doing to intentionally invite conversations — without adding more bookings or content.
So I am recording 2 guest episodes this month and it prompted me to think of how to invite people to reach out to start a conversation after listening to me on those podcasts.
Choose ONE of your upcoming guest podcast appearances and do this:
Decide on one simple conversation invitation you’ll mention naturally
Examples:
- “If this resonated, you’re welcome to DM/email me and tell me what stood out.”
- “I love voice-note conversations — I’ll share the link in the show notes.”
- “If you want to continue this conversation, here’s where you can find me.”
In a previous conversation with we've been discussing identifying a specific episode on my podcast to send them to, so I'll try each and see what happens.
