Just used the Level 2 Orientation Tool — my focus this month is Collaborations through practical guest teaching. I’m saying no to new platforms and extra marketing while I steward my website, systems, and prepare for a March price increase.

@Gwen Roach it’s magical when there is alignment.

@Julie Ostmeyer yes! And often leads to new ideas too.
Quick check-in as we head into next week 👀
The Break Up With Instagram Challenge starts next week, and I’m curious - How are you currently feeling about Instagram in your business? No right answers. This just helps me meet you where you’re at as we kick things off 💜 (And if you’re still on Level 1 or 2, you’ve got time to move up before we start.)

@Rachel Mohl Ah yes, it’s a good idea to represent what you do accurately, even when you’re not there. Good luck!

@Jen Fieldman ooh, repositioning sounds exciting! How’s it feeling for you?

Just used the Level 2 Orientation Tool — my focus this month is: Search + SEO–led authority pages. I’m saying no to: social media pressure, scattered podcast pitching, and starting new platforms.

@Laura Amador I’ve just started adding links to blogs. I don’t want to get too deep into SEO yet understand its value!

@Dionne Anderson I’m keeping SEO gentle at the moment as I’m focusing more on visibility through photos and messaging, but I’d enjoy listening in.
She Let Go...
Last night I did a breathwork session (I do them whenever I can to regulate my nervous system - usually that means once or twice a month - normally with https://breathlessexpeditions.com) and last night a poem by Safire Rose was shared that LANDED. In case it speaks to you as well, I thought I would share it here. She let go. Without a thought or a word, she let go. She let go of the fear. She let go of the judgments. She let go of the confluence of opinions swarming around her head. She let go of the committee of indecision within her. She let go of all the ‘right’ reasons. Wholly and completely, without hesitation or worry, she just let go. She didn’t ask anyone for advice. She didn’t read a book on how to let go. She didn’t search the scriptures. She just let go. She let go of all of the memories that held her back. She let go of all of the anxiety that kept her from moving forward. She let go of the planning and all of the calculations about how to do it just right. She didn’t promise to let go. She didn’t journal about it. She didn’t write the projected date in her Day-Timer. She made no public announcement and put no ad in the paper. She didn’t check the weather report or read her daily horoscope. She just let go. She didn’t analyze whether she should let go. She didn’t call her friends to discuss the matter. She didn’t do a five-step Spiritual Mind Treatment. She didn’t call the prayer line. She didn’t utter one word. She just let go. No-one was around when it happened. There was no applause or congratulations. No-one thanked her or praised her. No-one noticed a thing. Like a leaf falling from a tree, she just let go. There was no effort. There was no struggle. It wasn’t good and it wasn’t bad. It was what it was, and it is just that. In the space of letting go, she let it all be. A small smile came over her face. A light breeze blew through her. And the sun and the moon shone forevermore… → What do you need to let go of today? Drop it in the comments if you want to share it.

@Nikki Shockley yes. I like that. It’s plain & simple. I sometimes say it

It’s beautiful. Serene. The absence of performance. In the space of letting go, she let it all be. Just a leaf falling when it’s ready. Thank you
Hi, I'm Katherine - Cozy Business Coach and Strategist
A little bit about me, I'm a cozy business coach for introverted, highly sensitive and neurodivergent soloprenuers who are done with the empire building pressure of the online business world and looking to create sustainable success and a business that truly supports them. I'm an award-winning coach, including winning International Coach of the Year 2023, and founder of the Cozy Business Quest Community and Cozy Business with Katherine podcast. I live in Brisbane, Australia with my partner and love of all things fantasy - books, movies, tv - which you'll find often pops up in my business. Cos why shouldn't we blend together the things we love to build businesses that bring us so much joy and attract our perfect people, right?! So excited to be here and to connect with you all - I'm so over Instagram at the moment so excited to focus some energy else where. And for @Kylie Kelly to have finally decided to join us here on Skool!

Hello! Your cosy business approach sounds sustainable. I really resonate with the focus on introverted and neurodivergent solopreneurs building businesses that support their life rather than overwhelm it. I’m a brand photographer who specialises in virtual shoots for people who feel uncomfortable being seen online, so there’s a lot of crossover in the people we support. It’s always good to see others holding space for quieter ways of doing business.

@Katherine Mackenzie-Smith Yes, exactly this. There really is a quiet expectation that we’re all meant to fit one mould online, and it can take so much energy to keep trying to meet it. That’s actually why I moved toward virtual shoots and gentler photo planning. So people don’t have to perform or push themselves into something that doesn’t feel natural. It’s more about finding a way of being seen that matches their real energy, rather than draining it. I hear you on photoshoots taking a long time and taking a lot out of you. They can feel like a big production when really they’re just meant to be a tool to support your business, not overwhelm it.
