Saw Joan Jett & The Blackhearts last night at House of Blues Las Vegas. I first saw her in 1982. She was the second of four bands to play an outdoor festival at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tennessee. She was awesome then. She was even better as the headliner (It was the last night of her short residency)! A bartender told me she's coming back in January.
Anyway, she played all her hits: Bad Reputation, I Hate Myself For Loving You, I Love Rock N Roll, Crimson and Clover, Everyday People, and Cherry Bomb (The Runaways -- twice, electric and acoustic). She played a four-song acoustic set to finish the show. If you haven't seen her live, I recommend going. It's fun, straight up rock n roll.
Here are the first 10 photos I took toward the end of the show. The rest are in the first comment.
