Being a luthier.

I dont typically post a lot but as I go through school for lutherie, I have definitely learned a few things about guitar players. We all think we know everything about guitars (at least I felt like I knew most of it). We do not🤣 the more I repair instruments that people have attempted to repair before me, the more I have come to the conclusion that guitar players can tinker themselves into a hell of an expensive bill.

My intent is not to ruffle feathers but to mearly point out the fact that as guitar players the quest for more knowledge and the need to customize things can really get us into trouble. Has anyone else had this with their own instruments?
