Cheap or expensive guitar
I'm curious the schools of thought on buying a cheap guitar and upgrading it to sound the way you want or paying the premium for one that already does, but also holds resale value vs the cheaper upgraded guitar you'll never get back what you put into it. I've always gone the middle of the road or cheaper and upgraded but I guess I see the value in investing in an instrument that may increase in value over time. What are your thoughts?

Dude im a dime guy and believe ill never have 10 grand to get the ones I want a piece type deal so a quality controlled copy and then upgrade is just fine for me
