Awesome resources I've been using on my guitar journey
- Scott Paul Johnson's "How to use the CAGED system to play a SOLO" YouTube video: Helped me understand and "see" what the CAGED system is.
- Rocksmith 2014 Edition on Steam: Great for gamifying scales, chords, string skipping, etc. Also a fun way to learn a new song.
- CustomsForge Ignition4: Place to get community made custom songs for Rocksmith 2014 to expand the library of songs with ones you want.
- Ultimate Guitar: Great place for guitar tabs, even without the pro subscription.
- jabbey1's UGDownloader GitHub repository: Helps to download all free tabs of an artist you like from Ultimate Guitar.
- Paul Davids' "The 5-STEP SETUP every guitarist should know" YouTube video: Easy to follow and implement basic setup for your guitar or bass in case you can't take it in for a full setup for whatever reason.
I'm sure there's plenty more, but those are some that stood out to me. What have you recently used to help you on your guitar journey?
