Raised bed soil
@Betsy Moll I remember when you was filling your beds last year, there was opinions on the best raised bed soil and method but do not remember the mix you settled on... For everyone that uses raised beds, what is your soil mix?
Never stop planting
Today tender plants are being moved outside to harden off, which makes space for more , so I'm picking out basil and sowing scarlet runners in pots.

Semi hardwood cuttings
Today I'm potting on rosemary cuttings that were taken late autumn, most thin stem perennial shrubs root easily this way. Just pop them in a dumpy pot of compost, stuck in the ground, in a sheltered position and wait till spring.

Fruit: Trees and Berries- Zone 5a
I have the challenge of too much space, and would like to create a mini homestead that will be functional as we age, meaning easier care, and relatively compact spacing. Though I am open to anyone's ideas and experience with this. I would love to hear your favorites for fruit trees. I have 2 areas that would work for a small orchard. And I cannot seem to picture where to put Raspberries and Blueberries, which I adore. I am thinking high bush blueberries.
