Target brands and followers
Hi Nyomi! I’m so happy to be part of this community. Thank you for all the support you give, especially to beginner UGC creators. I have a question about something you mentioned in one of your training videos. You said that targeting brands and attracting followers should be around 50/50. I understand the part about targeting brands, but I’m not sure how to grow an audience as a beginner. I’m not a professional video editor yet and I don’t know all the tricks of this niche. I also don’t really want to create educational content for other UGC creators — that’s not the direction I want to take. So I wanted to ask: What do you think about building a “honest review” style page, where 50% of my content is portfolio-style videos for brands, and the other 50% is product reviews and honest opinions for followers? Do you think this type of strategy could attract an audience? Would it actually work? Thank you so much!
This is EXACTLY what you should post to land UGC deals (as a beginner)
This is how I made my first €2K in UGC deals with only 300 followers. I followed this one simple rule: 50% content for brands, 50% content for UGC/content creators/people in your niche. 🔥The first 50% → content for BRANDS This is how you show your value to brands. Not by telling them to hire you, but by showing that you know what you’re doing. Post things like: - Portfolio examples & UGC-style videos - Videos where you talk about: - Reviews of results or experiences with clients Brands see this as social proof. And trust me they care way more about this than your follower count. 🔥The other 50% content for UGC/content creators/people in your niche This is where most beginners get stuck. A lot of people think they need to educate others to connect. But if you’re still figuring things out yourself, don’t turn yourself into an educational UGC page yet. You can connect by simply sharing your journey. - Day-in-the-life content - Wins, losses, doubts, struggles - Honest realizations you’ve had - Things you like / don’t like about UGC - Behind-the-scenes shots - Bloopers - The gear you use You can: - Share your goals at the start of the month - Post a monthly recap at the end - Talk about what went well (and what didn’t) And once you’re further along, you can slowly start sharing what worked for you in landing your first UGC deals not as “this is what you should do,” but as your experience. AND... If this content is high quality, it attracts brands too!!! this was an answer to @Olga Zabezhinskaya question so If you have any questions about this or want more tips, leave a comment I’ll answer them today. 🔥 Where Are You Really at in Your UGC Journey?
hi besties!!!! It’s been a minute… I had hand surgery + a chaotic few months, so I haven’t been as active here as I wanted to be. But I’m finally back and honestly excited to reconnect with you again. And omg, I saw SO many new people joined recently 👀 So before I jump back into posting new tips, templates, and editing breakdowns, I really want to understand what you need right now. Because the truth is:UGC isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey. The stage you’re in determines everything what you should focus on, what you should ignore, and what will actually help you move forward. So let’s do a quick reset together: What’s ONE thing you’re stuck on right now? Just one. The first thing that comes to mind. It helps me see exactly what this community needs so I can create posts that actually solve your real problems, not just generic advice. I’m back, I’m feeling good, and I want to make this place valuable again for all of us. Can’t wait to read your responses 🫶 Nyomi What stage are you in right now?

Question
I have finished writing my script, but I've run into a challenge in the pre-production phase regarding my B-roll footage. I know what items I need to film for each niche (Food, Clothing, etc.), but I'm unsure how to film them because I don't know the final editing style or pacing....any idea?
