Feedback and growth

Hello, amazing people!

How have you been?

I haven't been very active in the community lately, and I've just read one of the last prompts in the Visibility Challenge, which was about "feedback and growth".

Let's talk about feedback... To be honest, I act on them if they come from someone I trust.

Why?!? Because I know that their feedback is given for my best. They come for a specific purpose, for my professional and personal growth.

There is mutual respect and trust between me and the other person. Even though some feedback exposes me to deep reflections and perhaps other challenges, I know that I have to work on them to achieve my goals and to do things better.

How have things changed?

I must admit that things turned over after I listened to the feedback and seriously worked on it.

Instead of continuing to watch the "small picture", I can see the "big picture" and keep growing.

For me, this prompt follows the previous one. Find a mentor, someone who believes in you and backs you up. I listen to their feedback, because they'll lead me to the right path. Maybe I don't know my entire path yet. But a mentor can see in me my potential and capabilities.
