The Danger of Assuming: Why Processes Allow No Exceptions
Hi community,
I wanted to share a recent situation from my job that reinforces the rule of 'never assuming.'
My responsibility includes sending reminders to our notaries to ensure package drops. One of them always does a great job, so I decided he didn't need the reminder that day. Ironically, he missed it on that occasion, which prevented the package from arriving the following day.
This experience reminded me that rigorous follow-up is not a lack of trust in a partner, but a safeguard for the system. Maintaining discipline in our tasks is non-negotiable.
I'm Marcos Fuenmayor, Tracking Coordinator of The Closing Signing Service.
