Happy Independence Day Weekend!
Just a reminder, July 4th is just the day we celebrate Independence from the English/United Kingdom in 1776. Every country has a 4th of July as they all have a December 25th, and a 1st of January. In each of these cases we express the name of the holiday not the day so why shouldn't the Anniversary of the USA be any different. Just my thinking as we do not say Merry December 25th but Merry Christmas. Nor do we say Happy January 1st but Happy New Year.
