I guess I'd say I'm a "nomad-lite" or something like that. I've traveled all over in the last 20 years with the Army (recently retired), and I'll continue to travel on mission trips and other trips as I get the chance. Once my son is older, we'll probably do a lot of "slow travel" and work on the go. I LOVE exploring new places and cultures! As for building, I'm "medium-agnostic" in my creating and building, but everything I do centers around helping others and fixing things. I was the kid who took apart most of his toys to see how they worked inside. I've created a few different things over the years, and I'm working (very slowly) on publishing my first book. Currently, most of my time is spent on building processes and workflows for a financial planning firm I work with. I also do a lot of writing in the personal finance space (mainly my Enlisted Money newsletter and paid work for another financial planning firm). Otherwise, I love building LEGO with my son, carpentry, welding, 3D printing, and anything else I find interesting. One of the things I want to challenge myself on in my next chapter is to lean into my musical talents through developing my voice more. I also want to finally learn to play the guitar that I bought in Seoul, South Korea, years ago (if you're ever there, you have to check out the music market!).

I'm from Ukraine 🇺🇦, been a full time nomad or slowmad for 11 years. I've visited 60+ countries and lived in more than 10. I'm an expert hitchhiker, avid wilderness survivalist, and arts aficionado. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese 中文 and spent 8 years of my life in Asia. I love nature and outdoor activities, dancing, sports, interested in different cultures and appreciate beautiful things. Most recently you'd rather find me in a forest camping than in an office working, but I love the perks of big city life too. I've done a lot of Neo-tantra 🤍, Vipassana meditation 🧘🪷, all sorts of spiritual experiences and pilgrimages 🕉️☸️☮️☯️☪️✝️💟 For me it is important to stay present in the moment here and now especially after a brutal burn down I had during covid. Now I'm in a phase of rebuilding myself in a more sustainable way and looking forward to co-create this journey with others 🙏

I was born in New Zealand but I have a Greek dad so I guess that makes me a GRIWI (bonus points to those who get it). I've been working remotely for 4 years and I'm currently based in the southwest of Portugal. Keen to scale my consulting business with AI systems, but can't seem to progress this while managing the client delivery. Excited to see what we can build here. I live on a farm and have a hobby vineyard. If you like chickens and wine, we'll probably get along.

I just learned that I'm apparently a "third culture kid." I grew up in Italy 🇮🇹 with a Dutch 🇳🇱background and a German 🇩🇪 education, which is probably why I've always been a language enthusiast, and lately I've become interested in effective communication 💬. I'm not sure exactly where I'm going with it yet, but I might blend these two interests and deliver workshops on the topic. I've also been nomading for over five years now ✈️ (mainly in SEA, I'm a beach lover🏝️)!
