Hello from Missouri!
I guess I'd say I'm a "nomad-lite" or something like that. I've traveled all over in the last 20 years with the Army (recently retired), and I'll continue to travel on mission trips and other trips as I get the chance. Once my son is older, we'll probably do a lot of "slow travel" and work on the go. I LOVE exploring new places and cultures!
As for building, I'm "medium-agnostic" in my creating and building, but everything I do centers around helping others and fixing things. I was the kid who took apart most of his toys to see how they worked inside. I've created a few different things over the years, and I'm working (very slowly) on publishing my first book.
Currently, most of my time is spent on building processes and workflows for a financial planning firm I work with. I also do a lot of writing in the personal finance space (mainly my Enlisted Money newsletter and paid work for another financial planning firm).
Otherwise, I love building LEGO with my son, carpentry, welding, 3D printing, and anything else I find interesting. One of the things I want to challenge myself on in my next chapter is to lean into my musical talents through developing my voice more. I also want to finally learn to play the guitar that I bought in Seoul, South Korea, years ago (if you're ever there, you have to check out the music market!).
