✅ Step 1: Pull Your Full Credit Reports. You’ll need all 3 bureaus. Use one of these: SmartCredit – $1.99 trial (Beginner-friendly and easy to read) AnnualCreditReport – Free weekly IdentityIQ ✅ Step 2: Review Your Report Like a Professional and Check EVERYTHING: Name spelling Address + personal info Any signs of fraud or identity theft Negative accounts Inquiries Public Records (Which there should be NONE) ✅ Step 3: Pay Attention to Color Codes: 🟩 Green = Good ⬜ Blank = Not hurting you 🟨🟥⬛ Yellow/Orange/Red/Black = 🚨 Pay attention! Focus on negative items and look for inaccuracies—most reports have them. ✅ Step 4: Write Your Dispute Letters: ✍️Target the accounts with errors. Point out each inaccuracy clearly. ✅ Step 5: Mail Your Letters: Send to TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax via certified mail. But don’t stop there—there are 63 credit reporting agencies in total. Check the others too! They may be affecting your approvals. ✅ Step 6: Wait for Your Results The bureaus have 30 days to respond.
