Jury Duty?
Hey all.
How do you opt out of jury duty? (in USA.)
Or do you show up for it?
I've been threatened with a fine, incarceration, or both, if I do not comply and show up for it.
Being there is like a prison for my soul.
I showed up - once. being "responsible."
I sat in a room with accused murders and said, Never again.
None of my reasons for not complying are valid to them.
Thoughts?
