As mentioned, you can just use the default (Tropical / Western) birth chart for the challenge. For those of you interested in the Vedic (sidereal) version, you can use the following steps as a quick guide to do so: Step 1: Go to the website
- Open a browser and go to astro.com
- Tap Free Horoscopes
- Tap Horoscopes Drawings and Data
- Tap Extended Chart Selection
Step 2: Add your birth data
- If you do not have an account, tap Guest User or create one
- Fill in your birth date, time, and place
- Press Continue
Step 3: Switch to Vedic settings
- Find House system and choose Whole Signs
- Find the section called Zodiac and Choose Sidereal
- In Ayanamsha, pick Hindu/Lahiri
Step 4: Show the chart
- Press Click here to show the chart
- Your Vedic chart will appear. You will see your planets and houses.
Step 5: Save or share
- Tap on PDF Additional Tables to get your Natal Chart (Data Sheet) in PDF
- Download / Save the PDF in your files
Quick tips
- If you do not know your exact birth time, ask a parent or check your birth record. If you cannot find it, use a best guess. The chart will be less exact.
- If the chart looks very busy, you can keep it simple. You only need the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and the nodes called Rahu and Ketu.
Done. You now have a Vedic birth chart you can use for the challenge.
