I’ve always wanted to build community. In 2013 I ran outreach groups for kids from community centres using music and sensory play. The area I lived in had a high rate of underage pregnancy, and so I wanted to show women and young girls that children were not a chore — they are a joy. That being a mother isn’t a burden to bear. We can all come together and support each other. However, this was a struggle to achieve and for not-so-nice reasons I had to transition out of doing that. However, I manifested a large building — it was huge. I’d been wanting it for a year and finally I got it, and I also got it for free for a year. I had set everything up — a drop-in stay and play creche for kids offering sensory activities, mums’ self-care, massage, meditation in soundproof rooms I’d had built with local builders donating time and materials. I had a shop front space where young mums could sell their products and help boost their businesses. I held children's groups and women's groups and educational offerings too. Then I was about to start on the downstairs, with the focus being single or dads and their kids, with more active activities like a small mini bmx track called Dirt Tracks and Diesel, a food area, a boxing area, and more. However, as the year passed and I was almost set and just about to get funding, my son was born — and the shop’s owner passed away. The brother who took it over took it all away from me. And wow, did that hurt. I had postnatal depression triggered by the loss of all that I had built up. And boy did I feel broken — my marriage was not good either; there was drug abuse and aggression and etc etc. I managed to keep myself up and going on until the day I woke up and left. Over the years my kids, and kids in general, have been where I’ve have and also wanted to help and support — because they deserve so, so much. But my own journey led me to solely being mamma to my own. I had to retreat almost from the world and pour everything into home due to our domestic situation.

I would like some help if anyone might be able to please My son is 11 and there have been different conversations over time about sexuality , indentitiy and sex , now we've come to a position again where he is exploring inline no matter the restrictions about porn , sex and nakedness and stuff and he naturally feels an edge if discomfort talking to me, I mean he does speak freely with me but im mot a male and he cannot fully open up to his mum he deserves some privacy ya know, ive still not been able to find him a mentor or anything so any help guidance or suggestions etc would be super appreciated 😉 x

I just wanted to take a moment and directly address the situation involving a member of our NEU community, and the posts she’s been sharing around social media and inside here as well, painting me and the team in a certain way. A few months back, I got a voice note from her, sharing how she was in love with me. It was quite unexpected, I was caught off guard and in all honestly.. I didn't know how to deal with this. Looking back, could I have handled it better? yes. I understand how this might have felt, and it was never my intention to cause any harm, this was new territory for me. I’m sharing this because I want to keep things transparent and ensure everybody has the full picture. I’m no stranger to conflict, and I'm happy to address these things in public. It feels important to cleanse the field and ensure a build up of incorrect narratives don't happen. This community and NEU is literally my life's work and as much as I want to be compassionate, the hammer must drop when the hammer must drop. This is also a good opportunity for us to lay out how to deal with situations like this in the future so we can all stay cool as a community and focus on the bigger picture. Like, you know, saving the world 🤷🏽‍♂: 1. I don’t want to stifle any of you from making future babies, so if you feel love for someone, then it’s your choice to express it. 2. ⁠However the person responds, don’t hold it against them. We all have different attraction templates and styles. 3. ⁠If the attraction isn’t reciprocated, please get the message and respectfully move on. Life is too short to get hung up on someone who doesn’t love you back (and let’s be honest, that probably means they weren’t as much of your type as you thought they were in the first place). On that note, I love you all. And… it doesn’t mean I want to make babies with all of you. I’ve got land to scout and stuff, so I might be married to the earth for a while. With love, Thor
