Hello hello and welcome to our new community! I'm so happy you're here! First, Let's make this a safe and supportive space for everyone. Comment on this post (or start a new one) to introduce yourself so we can get to know each other! - What part of the world do you call home? - What's one unique or fun fact about you? - If you woke up tomorrow with all the energy you needed, what's one thing you'd do? - Share a selfie and/or a pic of someone or something special to you (fur pal pics are always welcome!) Here's a format for you, if it's helpful: Hi, I'm from ________. A fun fact about me is ________. If I woke up with all the energy I needed, I would ________. Protein Powders...are they safe?
As a research nerd, I love to keep up with the latest in studies and papers published. Protein powder has been in the spotlight recently with the release of the Clean Label Project analysis. They tested 165 products and found almost half had high levels of heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, and arsenic. Surprisingly, organic and plant-based varieties scored the worst. Get more detail, including what this means for you in my latest email. [not on my email list? message me] Do you use protein powder? If so, is it whey, plant-based or something else?

Travel hacks FTW!
My hubbin and I were away last week on a mixed business/fun trip, and I used some tried-and-true hacks to come home feeling human instead of wrecked. A few of my favorites: - On the plane: water over wine (mostly), get up and move around every 30 minutes - At the hotel: short walk as soon as I land, thermostat set to 65 for sleeping, skip the sad continental breakfast carb situation and go straight for eggs. - In general: snacks from home, book instead of phone, and protecting my downtime like it's a meeting I can't cancel. Energy is a precious resource, and traveling doesn't have to drain it. What's your number one travel hack for protecting your energy? [ ] Water and sleep discipline [ ] Movement and fresh air [ ] Eating clean on the road [ ] Protecting my downtime [ ] I just suffer through it 😅
