This weekend, we honor the fallen.
For me⦠thatās Chief Larry Goldberg. He gave me these boots to fill. And the job he loved⦠took him from us. Not in one moment. Not on one call. But over yearsāthe exposure, the stress, the wear that follows us home. His death from colorectal cancer is now recognized as a Line of Duty Death. It shouldnāt take years for that recognition. But today, it matters. Because this job doesnāt just demand everything from youāit quietly takes it. We honor the fallen. But we owe the living more. Better habits. Better protection. Better conversations about what this job is really doing to us. š§¼ Clean your gear š“ Protect your sleep š„© Fuel your body 𩺠Get screened Protect yourself. Protect your family. Thatās what this is really about. RIP my friend, Chief Goldberg. I carry what you taught me every day. If this hits home for youāyouāre not alone. This weekend, we honor him and all those we have lost. šBuilt for Busy ā
