Community Note❣️
This space exists for parents, caregivers and professionals supporting kids with big feelings - and for adults who are learning emotional regulation alongside them. There’s no fixing here. No shaming. No ‘try this and they’ll stop.’ You can post questions, wins, struggles or just read quietly until you’re ready. This community does not and cannot take the place of professional mental health services. If you are having a mental health emergency, please contact your doctor, therapist or call 911. If you are having suicidal or self harm thoughts, you can call or text the 988 helpline or again, reach out to a counselor or 911. We are here to support and learn from each other but no one is able to give professional advice. Lots of love ❤️

🌱 About the Classes in This Community
I want to take a moment to explain how the classes in this space are meant to be used - and why they’re here. Inside this community, you’ll find two core collections: Moody Talks (Foundational Library) These are private reflections on big feelings, parenting, healing, and showing up when things are hard. They’re intentionally housed here now - not on social media - because they’re meant to be received in a safer, quieter container. DBT for Kids: Core Skills Library These are short, practical lessons designed to help teach emotional regulation skills to children. They’re tools you can return to, practice and adapt - whether you’re a parent, caregiver or professional. I’ve chosen to keep both of these libraries free inside this community for now. Emotional skills shouldn’t be locked behind pressure, and I want people to be able to learn, reflect and decide if this space feels supportive before anything else is asked of them. In the future, this community may include both free and paid offerings - especially around live support, deeper practice, and guided experiences - but right now, this space is about access, safety and connection. There’s no expectation to watch everything. There’s no requirement to post. You’re welcome to participate, ask questions or simply read quietly until you feel ready. I’m really glad you’re here. 💗 Jen

Parenting While Surviving
Let's talk about parenting while living with complex feelings and trauma. We can talk about our own need for emotion regulation as well as our children. Do you have a complex kiddo? 👋 This is the space to talk about it!
