Crystals, Stones, and Tarot for Shadow Work - Part 3
In Parts 1 and 2 we looked at Crystals and Stones and how to access their energy for Shadow Work. In Part 3, we are going to look at the use of Tarot and Shadow Work. Tarot is a wonderful tool to use for Shadow Work. 1. Tarot is full of imagery. This imagery is the language of your subconscious. Each deck has different imagery. ⭐Utilize a deck that has imagery you like. If you don't know where to begin, I'd suggest a standard Rider-Waite deck. 2. Tarot can help with insight from your guides and also your subconscious. 3. Tarot can help give you a detailed look into areas that may need clarify and potentially healing. 💡If you'd rather work with Oracle or another form of divination such as runes, please do. 🌲Before you begin a reading, take a few minute to ground yourself. Some favorite grounding things I do include eating something grounding like chocolate, hugging a tree, working with grounding stone like black tourmaline, or putting my feet on the ground. Spread 1: 'Is it the right time for Shadow Work?' Tarot Spread Before you begin working, find out if it's the right time. If you aren't in the right mindset, you may not get the right information, or it may be gibberish. Arrange the cards in a horizontal line from left to right. Card One: What am I feeling right now? What is my current emotional state? Card Two: What could come up during this Shadow Work session? Card Three: What are the personal issues I may need to review based on this Shadow Work session? Card Four: What energy can I expect to feel after this session? If the cards that you pull and the meanings are generally positive or energies you feel you are ready and able to work with, then it may be time to proceed. If not, this may not be the right time. Spread 2: 'What do I need to know about this issue?' For this spread, we are going to combine crystals and cards. Pick a card and stone for each. Suggested formation - a vertical line with card 1 at the bottom and card 5 at the top.
