Crystals, Stones, and Tarot for Shadow Work - Part 1
One of my clients asked me to share information on Shadow Work.
First, what is Shadow Work? Shadow Work is the process of identifying and integrating repressed and unacknowledged aspects of your personality. Shadow Work can be intense and overwhelming. Please get the help you need to work through this.

The best stones and crystals for Shadow Work are a combination of grounding, protective, and compassionate stones. These are the stones I recommend. You can also use any other stones that you feel drawn to.
- Black Obsidian is a tool for deep introspection. It helps bring issues to the surface quickly, exposing hidden truths and negative patterns.
‼️Black Obsidian can be an extremely intense energy for some. Remember, Black Obsidian is volcanic glass and is created when lava cools rapidly, solidifying into volcanic glass. If Obsidian is too intense, try combining with Black Tourmaline to ground out some intensitey.
2. Smoky Quartz is a tool for grounding and transmutation. It helps keep you rooted and stable while working with overwhelming emotions. It also absorbs and transmutes negative energy.
3. Labradorite helps access deep subconscious memories and inner wisdom safely. It also helps protect your aura during inner work.
4. Black Tourmaline is the absolute best in my opinion for protection and clearing. It creates a powerful shield against negative energy and helps keep you grounded. It also helps with overwhelm.
‼️Combine Black Tourmaline with Black Obsidian to manage the intensity and overwhelm.
5. Rose Quartz helps with self-care, self-compassion, and healing. It may also help with forgiveness as you work with your shadow.
6. Amethyst is helpful for soothing the mind and provide a gentle, safe exploration of difficult emotions.
