Crazy fact, my mom has never seen the Mr. Thank You speech…

Until last week. I was given the opportunity to Keynote the @c2financialcorp annual sales rally in San Diego. Since that’s where my mother lives, she picked me up from the airport and we had dinner.

When at the hotel, one of the vendors who had seen me speak before came up to say hi and asked my mom if she was going to see my presentation the next day. I feel kind of embarrassed that I didn’t even think to ask her. So I did, and she came 🙂

It was a wonderful full circle moment. She had a great time and even wrote me a stinking thank you card. 😭

As an added bonus, a long time, friend Eric Gillman came out to help run the book table, and I bumped into an old high school friend who I haven’t seen in 10 years, Michael Mauger.

PS My only non-negotiable was to buy a San Diego Padres hat and I couldn’t find one anywhere until the last minute, in the furthest corner of the airport. Lol.

San Diego never disappoints!
