Intro-Omolayomi Lawal
I studied Sociology in college, which really grounded my passion for people, systems, and culture. During my junior year, I interned at the Georgia State Capitol for Representative Segun Adeyina, where I later served as Chief of Staff for him and Representative Jasmine Clark.
Eventually, I felt God call me to shift directions. To serve through AmeriCorps as an Education Fellow working in under-resourced schools in New Jersey. That season taught me so much about humility, leadership, and the power of service. While there, I conducted research and wrote a detailed proposal for improving school outcomes. Now, in this season it's work I do part-time instead of full. Alongside leading my company. Today, I’m the CEO of DCX, a financial technology and media startup that’s reimagining how communities build trust, transparency, and economic empowerment.
Leadership & Influence Spaces:I currently move across education, government, business, and media, bridging these worlds through research, innovation, and storytelling.
What I Hope to Gain & Contribute:I’m here to connect with other visionary leaders who are shaping culture with purpose. I hope to share what I’ve learned from building at the intersection of faith, technology, and community, and to learn from others navigating similar callings in their own spheres.
My Mountain: Climb, because I’m building, brick by brick, toward a vision bigger than myself. It’s a season of growth, refining, and faith-filled forward motion.
