AI in the hands of the Leader
AI Won’t Replace Leaders, But It Will Expose Leadership Gaps In this new era of automation, I’m noticing a quiet tension in organizations: we’re moving faster than ever, yet thinking less deeply. As tools like ChatGPT and other AI platforms become embedded into daily workflows, there’s a growing reliance on generated responses instead of genuine reasoning. While these tools are powerful, when they replace rather than enhance human thought, they begin to erode one of our greatest assets: critical thinking. Without intentional leadership, this reliance can limit innovation, weaken decision-making, and ultimately flatten the creative process that drives product and service development. True operational and strategic excellence still depends on people, which includes their insight, judgment, empathy, and ability to see patterns technology can’t. The organizations that will thrive are those that balance automation with awareness, and technology with thought. As I reflect on this shift, one question keeps surfacing: Are we using AI to expand our thinking, or to escape it? #LeadershipDevelopment #OrganizationalDevelopment #OperationsStrategy #Innovation #AIandHumanity #CriticalThinking #Operations #process #efficiency

I think when it comes to AI two things can be true at the same time. Like anything in life things can be abused when used outside of its intended purpose. AI has the ability to expand someones thinking when used as an asset rather then the source. It also can be overused as an entire source which can cause someone to not critically think for themselves. I will say because AI lacks regulation.. as a society I believe we are on the verge of generational cognitive decline.. which is where a lot of the danger of this tool is beginning to show itself. But at the same-time what can be argued is that this is societial progression.. maybe some ways of “thinking” or what it means to formulate a thought could potentially become an outdated practice.. as we grow technologically. But like you said theres some things AI can’t replicate or replace.... especially those that God uses.. they will shine undoubtly and stick out more.. because now we’re are starting to see an increase in baseless thinking, lack of authenticity, no depth, or deep truths. Not just in the world but also the church.. everything is like an echo chamber of repetition… If anything the rise of AI creates the perfect stage for God to manifest his glory in those he has called to stand out in these last days. In all the blandness his glory will shine undeniably bright.. it will be extremely set apart from all that’s currently being shown to us. Which will cause attention to be drawn to these things not only from the church but the world.. because the ABUSE of AI is effecting all lives.. young and old.
Intro-Omolayomi Lawal
I studied Sociology in college, which really grounded my passion for people, systems, and culture. During my junior year, I interned at the Georgia State Capitol for Representative Segun Adeyina, where I later served as Chief of Staff for him and Representative Jasmine Clark. Eventually, I felt God call me to shift directions. To serve through AmeriCorps as an Education Fellow working in under-resourced schools in New Jersey. That season taught me so much about humility, leadership, and the power of service. While there, I conducted research and wrote a detailed proposal for improving school outcomes. Now, in this season it's work I do part-time instead of full. Alongside leading my company. Today, I’m the CEO of DCX, a financial technology and media startup that’s reimagining how communities build trust, transparency, and economic empowerment. Leadership & Influence Spaces:I currently move across education, government, business, and media, bridging these worlds through research, innovation, and storytelling. What I Hope to Gain & Contribute:I’m here to connect with other visionary leaders who are shaping culture with purpose. I hope to share what I’ve learned from building at the intersection of faith, technology, and community, and to learn from others navigating similar callings in their own spheres. My Mountain: Climb, because I’m building, brick by brick, toward a vision bigger than myself. It’s a season of growth, refining, and faith-filled forward motion.
