Anger is one of the most common emotions you see a man express. Anger is the easiest and most energy burning emotion we have. Often fueled by testosterone and some triggering incident, anger for the most part will NEVER help your outcome. Emotional regulation and stability is something most men struggle with at least at some point in their lives. When we understand that there is a psychological norm for men to skip the actual emotion we experience and inherently we tend to react in anger - we can start to choose authenticity, instead of a lack of emotional regulation in an angry expression. Authenticity shows up when we start to express the actual emotion we are feeling. Frustration, pain, hurt, confusion etc.... When we choose to authentically present ourselves accurately, people around us start to see a whole new person. A leader. A secure, emotionally intelligent, trust worthy man. Trust is one of the biggest things needed for a man to be able to lead. An angry man is not a trustworthy man and this is why this topic is so important for every man, esspecially young men. Feel free to chime in about your experience with anger. What you think young men should hear when it comes to maturing into an emotionally stable man.
