Hi everyone, I’m Cynthia. I’m 55, post menopause, and like many women here, I had to figure a lot of this midlife stuff out the hard way. Hormones shift. Energy drops. Weight shows up out of nowhere. And suddenly the things that worked in our 30s stop working. At the same time, many of us are also realizing we want more freedom, more income options, and a different kind of life in the second half. This community is where we talk about all of it. Things That Helped Me Reset My Body in Midlife
When I first started dealing with midlife hormone changes, I realized pretty quickly that willpower wasn’t the problem. Our bodies change. Hormones drop. Metabolism shifts. Energy tanks. These are some of the things that helped me start feeling like myself again. Let’s get this group moving…
This group was created because women kept asking for a place to actually talk about this stuff… without feeling weird about it. So here we are. It’s new. It’s small. And honestly, that’s not a bad thing. It just means we get to build it the right way. If you’re here, don’t be shy. Share what brought you here. You never know who needs to hear your story…or who you might end up connecting with because of it. Here’s mine (short version): I hit a point where what I had always done just stopped working. I'm a 55 year old post menopause mom off 4. My energy wasn’t the same. My body wasn’t responding the same. And I felt like I was doing all the “right” things with nothing to show for it. So I started figuring it out. Not perfectly. Not overnight. But piece by piece—learning what actually works for this phase of life and other women wanted to know what I was doing, So, that’s really why this space exists! 🙂 Curious—what brought you here?
