NEW 🔥Lots of new features released 🎉 what's your favorite?
As expected, Microsoft announced a lot of new features today.
- Public preview of Database Mirroring for Azure SQL, Snowflake and CosmosDB (Press Release | Documentation). (You need to enable this in the Admin Portal).
- Public preview of Folders (to organize workspaces (read more here) - will be available in the next few days.
- March 2024 Fabric Update with lots of smaller updates (including Semantic Model refresh activity in the data pipeline, plus lots more).
- Plus a few announcements from slides at the conference (see attached images), incremental refresh for dataflows, Data Pipeline on-prem access, Fast Copy for dataflows. Thanks Nikola Illic and Andy Cutler for the images!
- Also hearing rumours of GitHub support coming soon (currently it's just Azure DevOps)
- Also a big blog post by Arun Ulag listing all the conference announcements can be found here. Includes an interesting new feature called Task Flows 👀 (see GIF below)
