Calculated table in semantic model

I am creating a semantic model in a workspace. I usually create the date dimension in the model using a table calculated in DAX. Calculated tables are not supported in semantic models to work in Ditect Lake mode. How do you solve this problem in your models, do you create the date dimension with T-SQL at the connection point of your Lakehouse?
