The Power of Going Over What You Got WRONG 🔬
Hello My Little Gang of Nasties! 🤪😈
Let’s talk about one of the most overlooked parts of studying for the ASCP exam: reviewing the questions you got wrong.
This is where most students stop. 😩 They get the question wrong, get frustrated, and move on. But that’s exactly where the magic happens. THAT is where your understanding deepens and you start connecting the dots between topics.
When you go back through your incorrect answers, don’t just memorize the right one; figure out why you missed it. Was it poor interpretation? Confused theory? Misreading the question? Every mistake is data. It tells you exactly what to work on next.
✨Now, I tell everyone, "if you don't understand a WORD or PHRASE, or ANY specific thing in the question, you MUST look it up." While you're studying, this is your time to mess up! This is your time to say "hey yeah, I don't know this, but let me employ Google/ChatGPT to help me break this down." There are times when even I don't quite understand what the question is asking; it could be a word or phrase, but y'all know for sure, if I don't know, we gon' find out together!
If you missed the two live sessions this week, I broke down exactly how to go over incorrect answers the right way, and how to use those mistakes to build stronger recall and real comprehension.
🎥 The replay is posted here in the community and on YouTube, so make sure you go back and watch it. And if you want to do this EVERY week with me and the inner circle of Microscope Views, that’s where the real transformation happens.
