Your post are not advertisements and the FV and IG algorithm is setup only to show paid ads and reduce your post to only 20% of your friends even seeing it the same week it’s posted. TikTok is better at showing you off but the idea is the same… Post don’t get you clients.. the post are confirmation to prospects who are vetting you not new ones looking for you.
Many entrepreneurs wait for people to magically respond to their posts, but real business growth often happens through intentional connection. This is why I say make a list of 20 and text, email, call or DM them.
The marketplace moves at the speed of relationships. When you start genuine conversations with people who could benefit from your expertise, you create opportunities for trust, collaboration, and future business. Today is about stepping out from behind the screen and engaging real people.
Your goal is not to pressure anyone into buying, but to start meaningful dialogue. Remember you have their solution. You are a solutionist not a salesperson. (Yes I made up solutionist, but you know what I mean, 😂 )
When you listen first and show curiosity about what someone is working on or struggling with, you position yourself as someone who cares about their progress. These conversations often reveal opportunities where your coaching, speaking, or services can genuinely help someone move forward.
Action Steps
• Reach out to 10 people who recently engaged with your content, are in your network, or could benefit from your work.
• Start a simple conversation like:
👉 “Hey, I’ve been sharing some ideas this week about growing a business / hosting a virtual masterclass. What are you currently working on in your business / career right now?”
• Listen carefully and look for opportunities where your expertise could help.
• If the conversation makes sense, invite them to take the next step (a call, a message, or a resource).
