Welcome to Masters on the Grid (MOTG)
I’m Rob Davis — 63-year-old husband, father, and grandfather. I created this community because my first masters competitions surprised me in the best way possible. The athletes were genuinely supportive, welcoming, and completely ego-free — before, during, and after the race. Many of us met each other’s families and stayed in touch long after. That’s what I want to build here. This is a place for serious 40+, 50+, and 60+ athletes who still love to compete and appreciate the unique combination we bring: real life experience, less ego, deeper perspective on what actually matters — and the drive to keep pushing ourselves on the grid. Inside MOTG you’ll get: - My unfiltered training logs and preparation for HYROX Worlds - Real talk about training, recovery, and racing as masters athletes - A high-quality group of like-minded competitors who actually support each other - Direct access to me and the chance to build real connections We’re running a 7-day free trial so you can experience the environment for yourself. If you want to train and compete alongside people who get it, you’re in the right place. Drop a comment below and tell me: What’s one goal or race you’re training for right now? Let’s get to work. — Rob

Welcome to Event Meetups
This is the channel for in-person connections at HYROX events - Dallas, Worlds, regional races, or any other competition. Masters racing is special because of the people. Let’s make it easier to find and meet each other in real life. What to post here: - “I’m racing in Dallas - who else is going?” - Hotel / travel coordination and group discounts - Planning group warm-ups, cheering sections, or post-race meetups - Sharing photos and stories after events - Organizing informal masters athlete dinners or hangouts - Meetup ideas for future races Whether it’s your first HYROX or your tenth, you’re welcome here. No ego, just good people who love to compete and connect. I’ll be racing in the 60–64 Open division at HYROX Dallas (November 18–22, 2026) and will post official meetup details as we get closer. Drop any races you’re planning to attend or ideas below. Let’s build the tribe on and off the grid. I’ll see you on the Grid. — Rob
