Are you familiar with EVT (Estill Voice Training)?
Before I started studying recording engineering, I became certified in EMT and have been applying it to my own music activities ever since. However, in the United States — where EVT originated — I often come across recording engineers whose comments and behavior suggest that they understand EVT as well. Is it actually common for recording engineers there to study or at least be knowledgeable about EVT? At least in Japan, I have not been able to find anyone other than myself who approaches engineering with an understanding of EVT.
