Apply for a scholarship to The Profitable Engineer
Hey everyone, thanks to those who joined us live at the open day for The Profitable Engineer! It was super inspirational and thanks again to @Kevin Koelzer, @Sally Whitham and @Damian Baca for sharing their stories. If you missed it, you can catch the replay here. 🚨 We announced on the webinar that we are awarding a full ride scholarship and multiple partial scholarships (worth half of tuition) this month for The Profitable Engineer. If you're interested in learning more, start by watching the replay above for all the details, then apply for the scholarship here: mastering.com/scholarshiptpe Even if you don't think you'll get it, it's worth a shot! Applying doesn't guarantee you a scholarship, but you won't know if you don't try. We'll be reviewing everything over the weekend and early next week, so ideally submit your application by the end of this week. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions about how the program or the scholarships work. Excited to be working with more of you inside the program! (For those who don't know, The Profitable Engineer is our career and business program designed to help you make a part-time or full-time income from music) Cheers, Rob

Memorial Day Schedule Change
In honor of Memorial Day in the States, there will be no Town Hall or DAW calls today. Enjoy your day off and remember those who gave everything for our freedom.
To Thine Own Self Be True
So I joined the TPE Open Day and learned how the course has transformed the lives of @Damian Baca, @Sally Whitham and @Kevin Koelzer. It was a great eye opener for me and I spent the next few days deliberating on whether I should apply for one of the available scholarships. If I can't (yet) even complete the courses offered in the premium subscription (or even the free courses) offered by Mastering.com, then I shouldn't even consider securing something that would be of greater benefit to others with better, more focussed mindsets. So I haven't applied. Congratulations in advance to the scholarship winners. It's a brilliant opportunity!

Where do you find great vocals?
I've been the film industry since 2002 and we've never had a problem finding great vocals that actually "sell"/"move the needle" etc. Even though I wasn't the music supervisor, I've met my fair share of incredible vocalists/songwriters over the years. I've noticed strangely enough in the music industry, a common complaint among producers seems to be that great vocals are really hard to find. So just curious, where do you all typically find great vocals?
