Reference track louder than mastered track
The first track is my mastered track. The second track is the reference track.
I feel like I’m so close. I metered both tracks and I’m just 3dB quieter than the reference track. But I also have a limiter at the end of my master chain and it’s pushing like around -9dB of reduction. I know that’s too much but I’m still trying to get to that commercial level. I think I’m gonna start over at the mix. Any thoughts from you all?
