My Transient Shaping Rabbit Hole Video
Here's a link to the video I put together following the last coaching call with Jake. I did a short video showing what I did and what I learned while experimenting with Transient Shaping on a Kick Drum.
This kick drum is from a track in the TRE Mixing section Week 10 Editing exercise. It's a stereo track that I show in the video that I split into 2 mono tracks - Low and High (so I could process them differently - The Girth Trick) and using just a Transient Shaper and StandardClip clipper, how it brought a woofy sounding kick to life. I also showed using the StandardClip as a waveform monitor.
I hope you enjoy and get something from this video. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about what I did and learned, or for a clarification of the process I used.
