Compression for snare drums
Which compressor brings out the best in ghost notes? I would like to hear the ghost notes clearer without automating the gain on them between every hit. I wanna focus solely on the ghost notes. I'm using a CLA 76. But Its brining the snare up too much at 4:1 ratio in the mix. Anything doesn't work or crushes the snare transients too much for my Pop Rock style mix.
