Drop-In Call Notes (May 13, 2024)
Thank you @Genaire Walker for joining us today! Here are our "MAKE IT Series" meeting notes as a follow-up to our last call. Drop a comment to let us know what you think or if you have any follow-up questions! ___ We revisited your following comments/posts to help keep fine tuning your niche: (1) "Transformation Guru" (Recap) – How do you feel about being an inspirational coach? Right on about TikTok not being the channel at moment. Loved TikTok for editing... but burned out because felt "noisy" and not long form. Really like the idea of YouTube for longevity (not flash in pan). Let's focus on YouTube (long or short) and also think about how to tiePinterest, like Pinterest have a good following there. (2) "Leader Level-Up" – How do you feel about niching down on teaching others how to lead, does that light you up? Genaire's quote: "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should" ... easy to have execution skills, but isn't what lights you up. Wanted out of college to do doc films and story telling to tell other people's stories that would inspire. Interested in the process of businesses starting and ending, what happens to things like Kodak and Blockbuster... what's the commonality... the rise and fall companies, rest on their laurels and stop innovating. But for you the Inspiration is in the story. Can do high efficiency as a skill, but don't want to do that as a niche! Want to come up with fun, innovative ways of THINKING to extract and level up your level of thinking (that's where the innovation and money is). No KPI talk! Instead, talk to customers! That's where new ideas, experience, and elimination of distractions is... your language is about your customer. When people share their own stories they learn something about themselves. This could tie into "I'm the mirror" ... tell me your story.

Drop-In Call Notes (May 10, 2024)
Thank you @Genaire Walker for joining us today! Here are our "MAKE IT Series" meeting notes. Drop a comment to let us know what you think or if you have any follow-up questions! ___ We revisited your following comments/posts to help keep fine tuning your niche: 1. Your post in PRACTICE 2. Your thoughts in "Find Your Niche ➡ Why "The Power of One" is Key" 3. Your skills in "You Are The Niche (May 2024) (OPEN)" From #2 above, on our call we talked about: - You shared it doesn't feel great to sell ourselves! Makes us feel like we have to brand and/or plead for customers to see our value. Big DITTO that for me, too. BUT the unlock is to think of customers as not customers... but strangers-to-become-friends! You just have to build trust with them first since they're strangers at the moment, and your past contributions (NOT KPI's 😂) help them trust you faster. As an example, I shared the restaurant example in #2 above. Another example we talked about on our call – if you saw someone on struggling on the side of the street and wanted to give them a ride for free, most strangers (even if in need) wouldn't just get in your car even though you're offering something very generous. That's usually not anything to do with YOUR internal value, but just because they don't know (aka trust) a stranger pulling up in a car. But if you had a YouTube / TikTok channel that already showed how you regularly give rides to people in need, that person would be more likely to trust that you can get them there safely etc. So it's not about the value you're offering... that's amazing... it's that they just don't know you yet. By showing them your past wins/contributions you help them trust you, and you help yourself help them faster. Win/win! 🏆

Drop-In Call Notes (May 3, 2024)
Thank you @J Rock and @Genaire Walker for joining us today, that was a blast! Here are our "MAKE IT Series" meeting notes. Drop a comment to let us know what you think or if you have any follow-up questions! ___ ➡ GETTING MOTIVATED ON-CAMERA FOR TOUGH DAYS How do ya still get on-camera for content creation when your day is feeling 🥵? A few tips I've found work after teaching on-camera video/film classes for the last 10+ years: - 📅 DEADLINES – Set those deadlines! A deadline can be an incredible motivator. It becomes your top priority, which helps you worry less about not feeling your absolute best and just get the video done. - 1️⃣ 1ST ONE HARDEST – It gets easier. Remember, the first video is always the hardest. Each one you complete makes the next a little bit easier! - 👍🏼 FEW NOTICE, NONE CARE – Don't sweat the small stuff. Seriously, most people won't notice those minor imperfections, and those who do won't care. Your audience is there for YOU, no matter how you're feeling that day. Plus, those not-so-perfect moments can make your videos more relatable and even inspire others! - 👊🏼 STRUGGLES BUILD STRENGTH – Overcoming the challenge of getting your message out on a tough day can be incredibly empowering. You'll build confidence knowing you can do it again and again. - 🔁 BATCH YOUR WORK – Set aside a specific day and time to record a bunch of videos at once. Choose a time when you usually feel your best and try to minimize distractions. ('course for all of these be sure to resource yourself as you need for major personal/medical challenges) ___ ➡ OVERCOMING CAMERA SHYNESS - 📹 REHEARSE ON CAMERA – Reading notes out loud is helpful, but nothing compares to practicing directly in front of the camera. It helps you get used to staring at that lens! - 📺 WATCH PLAYBACK – Record a quick video and play it back. Spot anything you want to adjust – maybe your energy level or how clear your message is? Don't stress about tiny flaws.

Drop-In Call Notes (May 1, 2024)
@Echo Viktor great having your on our MAKE IT Series drop-in call today! ➡ MEETING GOALS Let's drill down on your: 1. One Channel (YouTube, TikTok, X/Twitter, etc) 2. One Product (Donuts, Dumpsters, Mountain Man Life, Day In My Life, etc) 3. One Avatar (Your Audience) 4. One Superpower (Pick One of Your Many) ___ ➡ GUIDEPOST - You Are The Niche 🤩 ___ ➡ YOUR IDEAS (FOR NOW!) Here's our brainstorming. Remember these are all just to start! You can totally pivot, adjust, change, whateva as you go. These are just your thoughts to get started: (1) YOUR ONE CHANNEL – YouTube Shorts (for now) (2) YOUR ONE PRODUCT – Donuts (60 second reviews) + Dumpsters (60 second finds) + Strangers Share Their Thoughts (random/impromptu 60 second interviews to get to moment of realness between two stranger... but how to make people feel comfy sharing quickly on-camera?) (3) YOUR ONE AVATAR – people who are in pain / who don't feel they have someone to talk to (feel more free to share with a stranger) (4) YOUR ONE SUPERPOWER – you can (and love to) talk to anyone, anytime ___ ➡ YOUR NEXT STEPS (1) YOUTUBE CHANNEL – Setup your YouTube Shorts channel (@eckovictor OR a completely new BUT keep it general in case you have to pivot your content… But it HAS to be tied to you... fly it by me first LOL) (2) AUDIENCE – People who are in pain / who don't feel they have someone to talk to (feel more free to share with a stranger) (3) RECORD – Film a 60 second example of ONE of your products above. Let’s go with SHARE OR LAUGH (the talk to strangers one) because you seem very passionate about it and it fits great with your superpower. Remember this is NOT the same as your YouTube channel name, your YT channel name should be very general but very tied to YOU, this is just a concept title of the actual videos inside your channel. You may tweet or pivot the content after testing below, so the YouTube channel name has to be general enough, but still tied to you.
