Working on my video prep process finally. Letting out my notion nerdiness again πŸ€“
How Batch Content Creation Saves You Time & Stress
Feeling overwhelmed by the constant need to create new videos? You're not alone! But there's an easy strategy that'll change your content game: batch content creation. ➑ What is batch content creation? Batch content creation means planning, filming, and potentially even editing multiple videos in a single dedicated session. This strategy is a game-changer, saving you time, improving consistency, and boosting your overall channel growth. ➑ Benefits Breakdown - Massive Time Saver: Setting up for filming takes time. Batching lets you do it only once, and then get straight to the good stuff – creating! Plus, staying in that creative mindset helps you produce way more than stopping and starting all the time. - Consistency King/Queen: With a backlog of videos ready, you'll never miss an upload. This keeps your audience happy and makes YouTube's algorithm love you. Batching also helps you explore themes in-depth, ideal for tutorials or multi-part reviews. - Burnout Buster: No more scrambling for video ideas every other day. Batching lets you plan ahead, reducing creative stress. You can then dedicate time to editing, interacting with your community, and those other crucial YouTuber tasks. - Creativity Breakthrough: Ironically, batching opens up more creative space! You might build a spontaneous series or find clever connections between videos. Plus, you can focus on quality instead of rushing. - Repurposing Power: Turn a long video into Shorts, clips for social media, a blog post, or even a podcast episode. This maximizes your content's value! ➑ Tips for Batching - Plan It Out: Don't just wing it! Have a content plan ready to make the most of your batching sessions. - Group Similar Stuff: Batch videos with common themes or setups for a smooth filming flow. - Keep It Interesting: Ensure a bit of variety within a batch so your finished videos don't feel like clones. Try it on! If you want to grow your video content creation without burning out, batch content creation is your secret weapon. Give it a try and see how it transforms your workflow.

@Kris Van Nest Thank you so much! I like the idea of focusing on one thing per video. I sometimes tend to talk about and prepare tons of things to make sure it's worth the viewer's time. I also like the idea of breaking it into a series of videos. I will try it and maybe ask for feedback in the help section πŸ™πŸΎ Much appreciated!!

@Kris Van Nest πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€ yes! I am terrible at batching + post-production. Every time I batch, I let half of the videos die inside my folders because I am not happy anymore as soon as I edit them πŸ˜…

@Genaire Walker So I decided to do more prep work, resulting in less post-production. This actually helps a ton. Also, I took advice from @Kris Van Nest πŸ™πŸΎ to cut my content into more pieces. I tend to try to solve too many problems in one video β†’ Instead I might turn it into a series or course etc

@Kris Van Nest Thanks Kris! Don’t think I am the right fit but here is what I do: I am using very simple dashboards myself in google sheets. Combining Looker Studio for all social media platforms with a couple of automations to always have updated data. I separated my financial reporting and just use data from invoices that are created + stripe to build some visual overview as well as client insights. @Andrea Geroldi if that sounds like something you’d want I am happy to talk :)
