My outreach experience so far.
I’ve been doing outreach for some days.
Some days ago: I DMed 2 local Pakistani brands.
One replied fast. Didn’t ask what I do. Didn’t ask who I help.
Just gave me unsolicited advice. Nothing else.
Zero curiosity. Conversation dead.
Yesterday: I DMed the CEO of an Australian company.
He replied. Told me: “Don’t waste time on audits. First understand what we do.”
Then send messages explaining his customer lifecycle, legislation issues, and consult process.
He wanted me to understand before I sell.
He listened first. Explained second. Judged never.
That’s the difference.
I’m Pakistani. I love my people. But the way we do business has to evolve.
Local clients: “Beta, let me teach you.”
International clients: “Help me understand.”
One drains you. One pays you.
If you want to be treated like a partner, work with people who act like one.
